(More customer reviews)Good product. In terms of ease of installation it is at the top of my list compared to the Zaggs and other alternative forms of screen protectors out there today. The main difference between these products, aside from sheer quality and user-friendliness, is that Steinheil (SGP) screen protectors use static-cling to adhere to the screen's surface as opposed to the types that require a liquid application solution. I don't know about most people, but I do everything possible to AVOID water (or any other fluids) getting anywhere near my expensive electronics.
Just follow the install instructions on the package and you should be good to go. One caveat: These protectors are highly sensitve to dust, lint, or any other particulate matter, so thoroughly clean the screen before applying and use extra care not to touch the adhesive side. Some people recommend applying the product while in a steamy bathroom but I didn't need to go that route. I cleaned the screen with a cotton pad and a little rubbing alcohol, then used a can of duster to remove any remaining crud.
So far as finger prints and scratch protection are concerned, prints are somewhat reduced and a week later there have been no scratches. Honestly though, any prints that do accumulate are easily removed with the 'ol shirttail and if any scratches do appear they are on the screen protector, not the screen itself. WIN.
