Once you place the Droid X2 it is protected from rain, from dropping to the floor (within reason), and the front plastic lets you use fingers or stylus without the problem of the thin plastic sheets that tend to come off. It has a clip that allows you to have it on your belt.
The only difficulty is the stand that you can use overnight or use to watch HD items. The box can't fit into it.
