(More customer reviews)Definitely feel like my phone is more safe. 2 draw backs are, first the flash is useless. The yellow casing around the phone creates a really fuzzy yellow flash. that destroys the pic. That being said. The camera on the droid x is darn good you don't need flash. So don't let this stop you. 2nd, The slightest bit of dirt collects around the front sensor next to the ear piece, so when you are on the phone and you take it away from your face, the phone doesn't know that there is "nothing" there, and the dial pad doesn't pop back up. It makes it hard to hang up on calls. But by tapping on the top power button will bring the dial pad back up anyway. So once again don't let that stop you. I've read alot about it being hard to pull down the notification tab. NOT a BIG deal. just use the top part of your finger (up there by the nail) rather then the bottom part (down there by the finger print). Look this case is to protect your phone. IT DOES THAT! I can't think that your going to find a case that's going to make you feel MORE safe. Maybe just as safe. But lets face it. The Otterbox only comes in black.
