I'm extremely satisfied with the holster and case.
I WAS going to hold off on a case and carry the phone in my pocket... Until I had some unsightly scratches on the edges of the phone after just a week. I paid way too much for this phone to get it scratched up.
So I went to Best Buy (Yes) and bought this case. The case is branded under Pt or something, but it's exactly the same thing. Seidio must have a contract with BB. I would have ordered it here, but I needed it immediately.
The case is solid, has a nice rubbery feel to it, and is small enough to where it doesn't add a lot of bulk to the phone.
The holster has already taken a few pretty big bumps after just two weeks of use, but it is really well built and durable. I'm sure the holster will last the life of the phone.
I do have a couple of complaints though:
You have to remove the back plate to get to your memory card (Obviously). It's quite a pain to remove. You pull off one side of the case, move to the other, and the side you first pulled off snaps back into place. The constant shuffling makes me worry that the tiny clips gripping onto the bottom of the phone may break.
The second complaint is the top piece that attaches to the screen. It is just slightly loose where you can move it back and forth, but it is still very secure and is in no danger of falling off. It's just a slight nuisance, and is nothing to stop me from recommending this case.
I'd definitely buy it again, but these slight imperfections prevent me from giving the case the full five stars.
*UPDATE 12/03*
The looseness of the top bezel cover was initially a nuisance. However, I didn't realize that it being loose also allowed dirt in between the case and the screen bezel. I didn't notice this for a while, as I had took off the top cover a few times and cleaned it, but the most recent time was about four weeks ago (Early November when I had to pull the battery).
Well, in four short weeks, enough dirt accumulated under the cover that it scratched the bezel of the phone worse than it would have if I had just carried it in my pocket.
I am very upset. I've taken good care of this phone, and this product has caused cosmetic damage. I'm not even really upset about the scratches; I'm upset that a product designed to protect the phone from these scratches is actually what caused them.
I did not want to completely remove my initial review because it may contain information useful to someone, but I am now very unsatisfied with this product.
