(More customer reviews)It's no secret that many iPhone 3G/3Gs cases will fit the Moto droid. And that's what this case is. A case for an iPhone that just so happens to fit the droid. Even the blister pack says so. But for the nitpickers out there, does one size fit all? Not really. Slipping an iPhone 3G into this sleeve reveals just what device this case was made for. It fits like a glove. Slipping a Moto droid in, the fit is pretty good, but not perfect.
Since the Moto droid has a rubber coated back, putting the phone in and out of the case is a bit difficult. A snug fit, but one that also has real friction to deal with too. And I can see that the back corners of my droid are having their rubber coating rubbed off. This would have happened in time anyway, but the case kind of pushes you along towards the inevitable at a good clip. The fit and friction is strong enough to cause the battery door to slide open or closed depending on how you put the phone in. Personally, I think the fit is a bit too tight.
The case is just a smidge too short too. Could be that the copy I have isn't as long as the rest though. Not the perfect case, but what is right? Slider phones are notoriously hard to make cases for.
