(More customer reviews)I've put Steinheil anti-glare anti-fingerprint screen protectors on all of my devices. Most people are right that they do reduce the brightness of your screen a bit, but I think that this trade off is well worth it. My Droid X's screen needs minimal attention to keep it clean and free of dust and oils. Women who wear makeup should be fighting to get these on their phones because you won't have to worry about wiping it off every time you use you phone. The protectors are well made and go on very easily. Much better than the cheaper quality films you get off of eBay for a couple bucks. With the cost of cell phones these days (replacement costs not buying phone costs) protecting your screen is a must. I recommend getting an Otterbox case as well to make an unbeatable combination in keeping your phone safe from almost anything. Otterbox commuter series is the case of choice for me. I don't plan on taking my phone scuba diving so the defender series is overkill.
I've tried a bunch of other brands and none compare. Zagg Invisible Shield is great protection, but not so great for touch screens because it yellows after a while and its got too much grip when you slide your finger over it.
INSTALLATION TIP: Turn on your shower to its hottest, close all the bathroom doors and get the bathroom really steamy. Clean off your phone screen with a microfiber cloth until there isn't any dust (that you can see). Follow the directions and install your Steinheil (works for all other brands as well). The steam grabs onto the dust particles and keeps them from falling onto your phone screen. Dust free installation!
