This case drew me in due to the fact that it wasn't going to add much bulk to the slim Droid X. Its rubberized surface mimics the feel of the DX pretty closely and its hard plastic inner layer seems like it take a knock or two. The case is very form fitting with no spots that feel loose or not in tight contact to the phone's surface. The front of the case actually covers a little more space below the four control buttons at the bottom and around the speakers at the top. What about the cutouts for the speakers, mics, and buttons? The first picture on this page shows a rather large cutout for the back speaker and mic, but the case I received had two perfect separate cutouts for these. The camera button and volume rocker buttons are wide enough so that you can still easily press them without the case blocking anything. The power button, headphone jack, and mic are all exposed by one rectangular hole spanning about 2/3 of the top of the phone. In the bottom left corner of the phone is one large cutout that starts so that you can see the USB symbol and ends after wrapping around the little two-hole notch thing in the very corner. There is no extra little tab between the two-hole notch and the HDMI port as shown in the pictures on this page. Despite that there's no lifting of the top of the case in the left corner. A good inexpensive case IMO, but my only concern is the lack of a corner tab as that leaves a largish open spot.
