(More customer reviews)This two piece cover does fit. The piece that wraps the screen has the least bit of connection on the corners. It might last a while. Time would tell - but I took that part off because it covers the microphone and not one caller could hear me properly. Question is, if Amzer doesn't mind I could make a hole on the edge. Will it weaken it's delicate structure too much? It's not usable with it in place. If they don't warranty it with a notch or hole I'll have to reurn it. I asked if they considered making a one piece version but they said that categorically they wouldn't make a cover that inhibited any of a phone's functions.
The on button is a bit vague now, but I could live with that. The Droid is a bittersweet phone to use anyway.
UPDATE:
I did modify the edge near the microphone opening. It was necessary and it did help. The sound was distorted, muffled, echo-like with the top piece on so I left it off. Since then I have dropped my phone and broken the screen ($89 charge with insurance). I replaced the Droid with another one. The cover muffled the new one also so I ground a groove at the microphone and now I leave the cover on.
