This is my second case and holster the first set broke only after I had dropped the case several times ( from heights of under 4 feet). The case is extremely thin so you barely notice it on your DX, yet it provides ample protection for those untimely slips of the hand. Also my first one was in black but I have to say the blue case looks much better ( depends on personal preference, I know). The case has the signature seidio feel to it which has a natural grip to it while being smooth and soft at the same time. This isn't a full body cover so your buttons, speaker, mics, and camera are exposed. I have a screen protector applied and I don't rough up the phone too much to risk the other unprotected parts of the phone. The holster has a nice face in design to protect your screen. It is also built very sturdy and keeps the phone in place with a spring loaded clip. Just pull the clip and the phone falls right into your hands. The belt clip is superbly built and can rotate 180 degrees. This is a great combo from seidio at a great amazon price. All in all I would highly recommend.
