(More customer reviews)I originally purchased a silicon case for my Droid X but soon discovered that it was too flimsy, especially on the sides, to feel comfortable in my hand when using the phone. Next I went with a hard shell case that came in two pieces. Because I use more than one battery for my phone (recharge one while the other is in use) I have to take off my phone cover daily. The hard shell case broke after about a week of this treatment.
This gel skin case has worked great! It is firm enough that it doesn't feel flimsy when it's on the phone and it works. The texture is much smoother than a silicon case and it doesn't attract lint like the silicon one does. I trust that this case would protect my phone if it were dropped onto a hard surface. Thankfully I haven't experienced this YET!
