(More customer reviews)My husband and I bought new Droid phones as Christmas gifts for each other this past year (2009), and we each bought one of these phone shells for our phones. (I bought the Starry Night one for my phone and he bought a black patterned one.) So far, we've had these shells on our phones for about three weeks, and they work great.
Since we have identical phones, having a patterned case makes it easy to tell our phones apart when they are lying around the house.
The case also fits securely, and opening and closing my Droid is a breeze with it on. I haven't had any problems texting or accessing the keyboard with the shell in place.
I haven't tested how much protection this offers since I don't really want to drop my phone on the floor, but it does seem to add an extra layer of protection to the phone and seems quite durable. It hasn't popped off at all, and fits securely.
No complaints here! :-)
UPDATED ON 1/29/10: Well, I actually DID accidentally drop my phone yesterday on our concrete garage floor, and the case protected it just fine.
UPDATED ON 6/29/10: Just wanted to say that I get so many compliments on this phone case! People are always telling me how "cute" my phone is.
