(More customer reviews)If you want a very minimal holster, this may do the job for you. No sleeve to protect the phone, just a well-shaped cup with a clip on the top to hold the phone in. The face of the phone is in (toward your body) and the top of the phone is down in the holster. The clip at the top is easy to push with your body when you bend over, and then the phone is free to pop out. But that's not why I returned mine. The BIG problem is that the "home" button gets pressed easily while in the holster, turning the screen on and running down the batteries. I'm betting that if it doesn't keep the buttons from being pressed it won't protect the phone well either.
