(More customer reviews)I really like this holster/shell combo. The shell fits snugly on the Droid and doesn't add much bulk. I would prefer a smooth matte finish on the shell to the textured crosshatch which feels a little rough on the hand. Also a cutout in the shell near the power on/off switch would be nice (I created one myself with a file). You do need to take care in removing the shell from the Droid X but once you get the hang of it its easy. When removing the shell be careful to pry up the side that doesn't have the Droid volume/camera buttons on it.
The shell fits snugly in the holster. Again, once you get the hang of it its easy to pull it out quickly and easily by grabbing onto the sides of the phone near the top with your thumb and forefinger. Putting it in is easy as there are guard rails which guide it in.
The clip is of high quality and one of my favorite clips I've ever used. It is smooth and curves away from the body so it does not dig into your side.
All-in-all a very nice design!
