(More customer reviews)I purchased the Amzer Snap On case so that I could protect my Droid X and still see the great SkinIt decal that I'd purchased. The case delivers on both accounts. It snapped on fairly easily and feels rather solid on the phone. I suspect that the thick nylon decals on the phone contribute to the tight fit and solid feel.
Pros
-inexpensive ($8 with free shipping through Amazon Prime)
-Snaps on easily
-Allows for a view of the phone underneath
-Provides for full protection of the phone
Cons
-Not an entirely smooth assembly, especially at the seam where the top and bottom half snap together
-Appears to have scuffed a bit already, so may become cloudy after a while
UPDATE 2/28/11 - I also purchased a Motorola car dock for the Droid X and had to slip the case on and off to use it. As might be expected, this particular case doesn't tolerate this very well and has loosened up significantly. As mentioned earlier, it's also begun to scuff and cloud up more. I downgraded to 3 stars, due to the scuffing. If I was using it all the time, it would be a cloudy mess within a few months. The frequent case removal is likely not what the designers had in mind, so I wouldn't really count off for it.
